EMERGENCY SERVICES WEEKEND

DESCRIPTION
Hawk Mountain's upcoming emergency services weekend will help cadets work toward GTM3 qualification. Through classes, hands-on exercises, and in-the-field conditions, students will learn many of the skills they need to be effective on a search and rescue team.

This weekend is only open to cadets, and attendance is limited to 50 students.
REQUIREMENTS

  • Current cadet member

  • GES complete

  • Possess full gear as outlined in the HMRS weekend activity packing list

  • GTM3 trainee status preferred
     

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pre-registration is required via our online registration form found here. Registration closes at 11:59 PM on May 2 or when attendance cap is reached.

Students must submit completed Medical forms CAPF 160, CAPF 161, and signed CAPF 60-81 for each activity. Cadets must have signed parental permission; out of PA Wing must be signed by your Wing Commander.

Meals will be provided, but bring snacks for the weekend. As at any activity, arrive with full hydration.
